Fourth annual Prize for Poetry a success

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the fourth annual Charles R. Moore Prize for Poetry publication! We received some exceptional pieces this year and were pleased to share many of them during the gala on Saturday night.

The winners of the youth category (judged by Amy Ray) are:

First: Kira L. McMahon of Lubec, "The Old Lilac" (shown on left)

Second: Jocelyn Dubay of Baileyville, Untitled

Third: Sonya Lombardo of Alexander, "Clocks"

The winners of the adult category (judged by Erine Leigh) are:

First: Cynde Snider of Lubec, "Drinking Zubrowka on the Occasion of Wet Snow" (shown below)

Second: Nancy Sobanik of Lyman, "Wind Chime"

Third: Lars Petronis of Beals, "Hawk's Rest" [Please note that there was an error printing Lars's submission and a second edition is forthcoming.]
