How to Enter:
Entrants should submit one unpublished poem in any style or form up to 50 lines, along with a one-sentence bio.

Former EAC Board member Charles “Chick” Moore established the Eastport Arts Center Prize for Poetry to bring people together through the power of poetry, to help strengthen bonds within our communities, and to provide an outlet to those poets who may lack an arena to share their creative output.
​
This Year's Theme: “Work”—personal reflections, celebrations of craftsmanship, the meaning of work in our lives, or anything else that work means to the poet. Youth poets may want to explore their career dreams and aspirations.

Contest Ends: May 31, 2025
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, August 16, 2025, 6 pm, at Eastport Arts Center
