The Lee Suta Jazz Jam Showcase
Kicking off in 2026, the Lee Suta Jazz Jam Showcase - named in honor of area musician Lee Suta, who was planning to perform but passed a few days prior - provides a place where area musicians can display their skills at playing and improvisation under the guidance of lead organizer and musician Joan Lowden.
The first showcase was a great success with 13 musicians performing on a range of instruments. Held in the downstairs ballroom, it effectively transformed the EAC into a jazz club.

The showcase will be held every year in late September with the intention of highlighting and encouraging local musical talent and serving as a fundraiser for EAC's programming.
