Eastport Arts Center is pleased to present, Zentangle: A Mindful Drawing Practice, with Ann Cannizzaro. Sessions are being offered March 22 and April 26, 10 am-noon; they are designed for students ages 12 and up.
Known for promoting concentration and creativity while serving as a form of meditation for students, Zentangle is a popular drawing method for all skill levels. Workshop attendees will learn about Zentangle techniques, such as ‘tangles’, ‘tiles’, and ‘strings’, while creating intricate small drawings. Each workshop will offer new design techniques for those who have participated in previous Zentangle study; it will also be appropriate for beginners.
An educator, artist, and lifelong learner, Cannizzaro is a beloved instructor at EAC, with a calm and mellow teaching style.
