About the event

EAC will offer a special workshop, ‘Cards, Notes and Signs,’ with instructor Alison Ross on Saturday, November 16, 2-4 pm. Using a variety of straightforward lettering techniques, participants will learn to create attractive custom signage for any occasion—place cards for holiday tables; gift tags; note cards to send in the mail. Each student will have an opportunity for personal instruction and receive a practice packet created by the instructor.

The session is designed for students ages 10 to adult. All materials are included. Each student will receive a dual-tip Tombow Brush Pen and a packet including practice sheets, tracing paper, practice paper and blank postcards. Space is limited; students may register below by email to workshops@eastportartscenter.org.

Please select your fee for this workshop: a basic registration is $20; if you are able to choose a 'support EAC' registration of $30, your extra contribution will help support our accessible year-round programming. A sliding fee scale (pay what you can) is available by request.
