About the event
We Are the Watershed is a collective of environmental, arts, and Indigenous-led organizations working toward re-connecting humans with nature, to revitalizing the health of nature, waterways, estuaries, and the Bay in Peskotomuhkatikuk, with events to be held on May 1st and 2nd at Eastport Arts Center.
We are seeking input from creatives throughout Peskotomuhkatikuk (spanning the border) to add to a publication which will be sold by donation at the event, to raise funds for community-building efforts, public engagement, and continued restoration efforts. Entries can include written word, and/or visual arts of any kind.
In this hour-long introduction, Alison Ross will speak about the group and offer prompts to help get the creative juices flowing. Please join us!
