Vibe Concert Series Presents: Bonnie, EDT, & Creosote

Bonnie, named after a psychic medium, was formed under Leo’s ascendant gaze in a small town on the coast of Maine. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like The Breeders and Dead Moon, their music delves into both the metaphysical and physical worlds, creating a distinctive blend of grungy, psychedelic rock. Bonnie’s sound has been described as “Mystical, danceable alt-rock anthems” and it is characterized by raw, gritty guitar riffs, droning keyboard melodies, and powerful, harmonizing vocals. Their lyrics are grounded and down-to-earth, yet they hint at a hidden darkness beneath the surface.

Bonnie is Allison Cekala (guitar, vocals), EDT (bass, vocals), and Claire Donnelly (percussion, backing vocals). After releasing their debut EP Eclipsed in April 2024, the band broke into the New England scene with an invitation to perform at The Thing in the Spring festival in New Hampshire, sharing the stage with Earth and Buck Meek of Big Thief. Since then, Bonnie has released six singles and their first music video, played their first international show in Madrid, and toured in support of Habibi.

EDT writes gay oceanic cello folk. They are also a member of The Huntress and Holder of Hands and Nova One, and have toured nationally and internationally. Originally from Maine, they have been living in Providence RI since 2013.
