Stage East Community Planning Session

Join us on Saturday, September 27 from 2–4 PM at Eastport Arts Center for an afternoon of

conversation, creativity, and community. We’ll be sharing plans for the upcoming season—two

productions are already taking shape, and we’re on the lookout for a third. Do you have an original play

you’ve written that you’d love to see on stage? Or perhaps you’d like to explore playwriting through

one of our new courses? We’d love to hear from you!

This gathering is also the perfect chance to learn more about our wide variety of classes—including

acting, stagecraft, playwriting, directing, and improv—as well as our brand-new play reading group.

Whether you’re an experienced theater artist or brand new and curious, there’s a place for you at Stage

East.

And remember—no production comes to life without the vital support of volunteers! From backstage

crew and set design to costumes, lighting, and more, we’ll be looking for passionate people to help

bring our shows to the stage.
