Stage East Auditions

Stage East, the community theater of the Eastport Arts Center, needs a whole lot of actors to put on The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, a wild and silly comedy by Don Zolidis. The Spectaculathon mashes up almost every Brothers Grimm fairytale you can remember, with many, many roles available: it can be cast with anywhere from five to fifty actors! The play is suitable for all ages, but the parts are intended to be played by adolescents to adults.

Auditions will be held at the Eastport Arts Center on Saturday, March 1, at noon and Sunday, March 2, at 11 am. No experience is necessary. If you have acted before and have a scene you’d like to read, bring it; all will be asked to read some fragments of the Spectaculathon as well.
