Online auction of Arthur Cadieux's works

Born in Belfast, Maine in 1943, Arthur grew up in Massachusetts and went on to study art in both Boston and Amherst. He traveled the country teaching as an art educator before settling back in Maine. With influences based in conceptual art, abstract expressionism and post modernism, Arthur applied a well-developed sense of social conscience to his work, along with the wisdom of recognizing the importance of incorporating change. According to Arthur, “Age gives you the experience and a depth of knowledge that allows you appreciate the new.”

An auction of Arthur's works will be held on Friday, August 15 from 4 to 6 pm. Online bidding for the works will begin on August 3 at midnight and end on August 14 at midnight.
