EAC Films Presents Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

EAC Films, offered in Eastport Arts Center’s upstairs theater on a full-size cinematic screen, will present Dreamworks’ family hit Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022, PG) at 2 pm and 6 pm, Saturday, December 23. Distributor Swank Films summarizes as follows: “Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll: he has burned through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.”

On the Rotten Tomatoes review aggregator site, 95% of 192 critics’ reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.6/10. The site’s consensus reads: “Arriving more than a decade after the previous installment, the smart, sweet, and funny Puss in Boots: The Last Wish proves some franchises only get better with age.”

Admission for EAC Films screenings is $7. Attendees age 17 & under will be admitted free of charge to G, PG and PG-13 films, but must be accompanied by an adult. All seats will be $7 for R/NR films. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each screening.
