About the event
Eastport Arts Center will present a screening of the 2024 film No Other Land, on Friday, May 30 at 6:30 pm. Directed by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, and Rachel Szor, the film centers on the destruction of a Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank. The film has received more than 30 major film awards, including the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Educational resources will be available for attendees from Maine Coalition for Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace. Doors will open one hour prior to the screening; EAC box office will open for ticket sales at 6 pm.
Tickets for the screening are $5; they may be purchased below or at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and is handicapped-accessible.
