The Bob Judd Memorial Scholarship

The Bob Judd Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 with the support of family and friends of Robert L. Judd. Bob was a generous and beloved citizen of Lubec who passed away in November 2020. Bob had a habit of supporting students and local musicians and the scholarship is designed to do just that. A $1,000 award is made annually. Eligible applicants must be residents of Washington County who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in music.

About the competition:
The Bob Judd Memorial Scholarship is managed by the Maine Community Foundation and awarded by Eastport Arts Center (formerly under the Lubec Area Musicians' Philanthropic Society). We encourage any high school senior or mature student to apply for this $1000 award. The award is granted each June.
