Stage East’s Summer Comedy Riffs on Small-town Life

Popcorn Falls by James Hindman tells the story of a small American town facing economic disaster after a neighboring town’s dam dries up their famed waterfall. The mayor alongside the town hall’s trusty custodian must rally the townspeople together to put on a play in order to save their beloved community. A cavalcade of quirky characters and unexpected twists, this play is a must-see! The production will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, June 16th-18th and 23rd-25th. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 pm; Sunday shows are at 2 pm. Tickets are $16 for adults, free for children, and can be purchased online at www.stageeast.org or at the box office on the day of the performance. Popcorn Falls is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
